Get in touchOur mission
Global Transitional Housing, Inc. provides transitional housing and supportive services to vulnerable Philadelphians — adults returning to Philadelphia from correctional facilities, justice-involved youth, veterans, and families at risk of homelessness.
Planned activities include leasing residential units at fair market rent and delivering housing placement, case management, mentoring (including peer mentors with lived experience), employment linkage, benefits enrollment, and referrals for substance-use and mental-health services, in partnership with Philadelphia correctional, workforce, and behavioral-health agencies.
Who we serve
Adults returning from prison
Stable housing and case management for adults reentering Philadelphia from correctional facilities.
Justice-involved youth
Support for young people navigating the justice system, built around mentoring and family stability.
Veterans
Housing placement and benefits enrollment for veterans facing homelessness.
Families at risk of homelessness
Lease-based housing that keeps families together and connected to services.
Our first program
GTH's first program is a lease-based reentry housing program serving approximately 40 adults over 36 months, funded by federal grant programs. Participants receive housing placement, case management, peer mentoring, employment linkage, benefits enrollment, and referrals to substance-use and mental-health services.
Status: Program operations have not yet commenced. GTH's 501(c)(3) public charity recognition is pending reinstatement with the IRS. Our first program will launch when federal grant funding is secured.
